The Inn at Henderson's Wharf is a beautifully appointment, charming hotel. It sits in a gorgeous location at the wharf. Fells Point itself is very charming. The bricked streets and old-time feel make it a unique experience. The staff is warm and welcoming; they go out of their way to be sure that you are comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the mornings is a notch above most complimentary breakfasts. There's not a lot "to do" at the hotel, but it is in a great location. You can easily walk around and visit the sites at Fells Point. The other wonderful perk is that there is a shuttle that runs to a few of the other hotels, one of which is located in the Inner Harbour. That way, you can take the free, comfortable shuttle to and from the Inner Harbour to see the sites there. Cannot say enough nice things about this hotel- the reviews and pictures do not exaggerate how nice is truly is!

hcomet15, thank you for leaving an extraordinary review and we'd also like to thank you for choosing to stay with us during your time in Baltimore. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the time spent at our property.

We couldn't agree with your analysis of the Fell's Point area more! It definitely has a very old-time feel and charm to it. We love being located in such a historic area because we feel it adds a lot of character to our hotel and makes for a very different experience.

We noticed that you mentioned how welcoming and friendly our staff was. We have quite an amazing group of individuals working with us. Our team strives for the highest levels of guest satisfaction and it certainly shows. We will definitely let them know of all the kind things you had to say.

We were pleasantly surprised by this clean, quiet, friendly and reasonably priced hotel on the waterfront in the Fells Point historic district. And there are special rates for outpatients visiting nearby Johns Hopkins Medical Center. There was free outdoor parking and good breakfast selections, as well as a shuttle service to the hospital. The staff was helpful and coffee, tea and tidbits are always available and on the house. The room was simple, but spacious and the double bed was comfortable. The bedding was crisp and clean and there was a big screen TV. Our only criticism was the need for a little more light in the bathroom and there is no dining room. However, nearby there are lots of pubs and restaurants.

Room Tip: There are rooms with cobblestone street views and ones for a bit more money with waterfront views.

Neil760, we want to thank you for choosing to stay with us during your time in Baltimore and we'd also like to thank you writing a nice review. We are very glad to hear that you were pleasantly surprised by our hotel and that you enjoyed your time at our property.

We do indeed offer special rates for outpatients who are receiving care at Johns Hopkins. We know that visits to the hospital aren’t always relaxing. We really try to make these guests feel as at home as possible and ensure that they are relaxed during their time with us.

We have shared your comments about the lighting level being low in your bathroom with our engineering team. Perhaps there is something that they can do to brighten up our bathrooms. We're thinking that maybe a stronger bulb would do the trick.

We want to thank you for sharing your experience with us and the TripAdvisor community. It really means a lot when patrons take the time out of their day to leave a kind review. We hope you realize how much it means and know that this kind gesture doesn't go unnoticed.

If we can ever do anything to accommodate you in a future visit to our location, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here for you!

Our Son and his family moved to Baltimore 3 years ago and we have been traveling up there two or three times a year for the last 3 years to visit them and our grand children. We recently found and stayed at "The Inn at Henderson's Wharf" and loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only 38 suites but all on the first floor. No stairs or elevators to hassle with. Sumptuous and Fresh Free breakfast in the lobby. It is part of Baltimore's "Harbor Magic chain". A great find.

Ben K, thank you for leaving a spectacular review and we'd also like to thank you for choosing to stay with us while visiting your son in Baltimore. We are ecstatic to hear that you loved staying at our hotel.

We're glad that you mentioned that we only have 38 guest rooms. Although we are located in a decently sized building, the 1st floor is only our rooms while the other floors are apartments and condos. People new to our hotel and the area sometimes think that our hotel spans multiple floors when in reality it doesn't.

We're happy that you enjoyed the breakfast that we provide for our guests. We want our patrons to be fully energized so that they can have a great start to their day.

My wife and I stayed here for a one-night getaway for my birthday. Dinner and concert the night before followed by late night drinks and appetizers at a neighborhood tavern (of which there their many within walking distance). Calm quaint morning. Great location. A really quiet and very cool hotel right on the water. Loved getting up on the crisp autumn Sunday morning and walking around the nearby pier amongst the cobblestone streets. Everyone just doing their own thing. Very laid back hotel and neighborhood. Breakfast in the courtyard was nice. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Free wifi. I want to go back!

We spent a night in Baltimore over Easter weekend and found the hotel online. The property is located in Fell's Point surrounded by rich history with cool bars and restaurants. The hotel provides a shuttle to its other properties in Baltimore. We were able to shuttle to the Inner Harbor with ease and enjoy everything the Inner Harbor has to offer.

Room Tip: Marina side rooms on the water are a must with views of the Inner Harbor

WHen we visit Baltimore we always stay at this beautiful hotel. We have been staying here at least once or twice every year for many years. We stayed because the price was reasonable, we were always able to get the room we requested, the staff were great, the breakfasts were great and we never had any problems with the rooms. Labor day weekend (we stayed three nights) was a bit of a disappointment. First of all we requested our favorite room 104 which we did not get. We were also informed that harbor view rooms where more expensive than the garden view rooms. Well, we never experienced that in the past. We always got the harbor view for a great price, so I guess their price policy changed. One of the reasons we love this hotel was because their prices were reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and the staff were super friendly and helpful. But I guess they are now getting more expensive like everyone else. We got a garden view room which we did not like. The room was dark and we could not open the windows because everyone at breakfast could see in our room. The air conditioning air filters were filthy and full of dirt and dust and I got sick. It told the front desk and fortunately they changed the filter and cleaned the vents the next morning. Also, the telephone did not work. This was an issue for me because both my parents are ill and I need to be reached by my other family members in case of emergency. The signal for my cell phone was very weak so I needed the hotel phone to work. The said they would fix it, but it still not not work right and my family could not reach me. They said they would credit me the $9.95 service charge for three nights, but after checking the bill, we were only credited for two nights. The breakfasts are still great. The staff is not as friendly as they used to be--different people. They appeared annoyed when I mentioned the A/C issue and phone. They did not ask how everything was, like previous staff members. They were not very helpful when we asked questions. We used to really love this hotel--it was our favorite. I don't know what happened since we were here last, but I am assuming the ownership changed. Oh, one more thing, we always used to get a complimentary bottle of wine, they no longer do that either. When I asked, they said it was now a part of a special package that you had to pay extra for!!! We still love this hotel, but disappointed with the changes and the prices.

Room Tip: Harbor view rooms are really nice, but at a premium now....

Joanne D, we want to thank you for leaving a great review and we'd also like to thank you for your continuous patronage to our hotel. We are upset to hear that you felt your experience changed from your last visit.

Please know that we have passed along the comments of your review along to our management team. We take guest feedback very seriously. We have made various price changes to our hotel, however, we still have the same owners as before. Our pricing very much fluctuates based on season and also events that may be happening around the city.

We hope that despite your latest stay, that you will come back and give us another try. We never like to hear that we have disappointed a loyal patron. Please let us know if we can ever do anything to accommodate you in a future visit and we will be sure to take care of you.

Thank you.

A wonderful hotel located in Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The building is a renovated warehouse sitting on the water front of the harbor. A very nice breakfast was included which we ate in the lovely court yard. The service was excellent. Free parking was included which is a big plus in the Fells Point area.

Room Tip: Call well in advance
