Staff was very friendly helpful and courteous Our room was very comfortable and very clean I would recommend this hotel to people who enjoy quiet moments We also enjoyed the Wine Down We got to meet other travelers and it was a pleasant break from all the sightseeing we did. Keep up the good work We will be back soon

We have stayed at Henderson's five times so far and will continue to be repeat customer's. I have everything prearranged and it is waiting for us upon check in. From attractions at the harbor to our dinner reservations at Kalie's. Knowing my car is secure (free parking), to one of the best staffs, they go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The area of fell's point is always enjoyable, from shops to pubs to weekend events. Henderson's is very clean, the beds are top notch and the maid service always leave our room with all the nessicities. A class place to stay and we have recommended it to many of our family and friends. Great Job!

Room Tip: I love the corner rooms with King Bed, it's nice to open the shutters and have a full view.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Inn at Henderson's Wharf at the beginning of the summer and had a wonderful experience. It's amazing how calming and serene of an atmosphere they are able to create so close to the lively day and nightlife of Fell's Point. It's so enjoyable to come back from a day in Baltimore and walk along the docks back to your room. You can't beat it.

Our room was spacious and clean, and you instantly feel that the staff is making every effort to go above and beyond a normal level of service. We chose a room with a view of the harbor, which was a great choice. The morning breakfast is also a lovely experience with a great deal of choice of foods, and you can dine indoors or outside in the courtyard garden.

I want to make special mention of the experience I had working with Josh S. My girlfriend and I wanted to experience some new parts of Baltimore that we hadn't already been to, so I set up a phone call with Josh before our arrival in the city that weekend. I was absolutely blown away by his service. He took time with me over the phone, listened to my preferences, and thoughtfully came up with some great ideas for activities for our weekend. I felt like I was speaking to an old friend who happened to live in Baltimore and know all about cool stuff to do in the city. Josh not only set aside tickets for us to pick up at the hotel desk, but he even offered me his personal cell phone number to call in the event that we needed more advice over the weekend during our stay--and he made me feel like he'd be delighted if I did in fact call.

The Inn at Henderson's Wharf gets a lot of credit on yelp for their spectacular service, and it's not for nothing. This is a great hotel with an attentive, friendly staff. And for us, the service we received from Josh S. made the experience one we will probably never forget.

Room Tip: View of the harbor is a great choice.

Having our hotel set off to the side of Fell's Point is definitely a big plus. Our patrons can easily walk to all the great shops, restaurants, and bars, while still being able to enjoy peace and quiet when they want to just relax and enjoy the surrounding environment.

From reading over your review, we saw that you mentioned how kind and helpful our staff was. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people working with us. If only this hotel had more rooms, sometimes I have to stay elsewhere when I visit Baltimore and it is never the same. This hotel books up quickly so book early to secure a room. Handy for some lovely restaurants, just as well as the hotel has no restaurant of its own, breakfast (continental) is delivered every morning. At least it is free. Lovely views of the small boat harbour and further across to the bigger ships.
The beds are really high, with thick mattresses so if you are on the short side then you might need to take an athletic leap, but they are so comfortable the effort is worthwhile.

Honestly, I don't understand how anyone could give this hotel anything less than a five. The location is perfect, right on the water and close enough to all the restaurants and other Fell's Point attractions without being too close. The rooms are beautifully decorated and are very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, loved all the freshly cut fruit. The Wine Down service is also a very nice perk. I would stay here again and again. If I was forced to mention an areas of improvement it would be the 1 ply toilet paper. And the staff was super friendly.

My husband (a frequent traveler for work) notes this as one of the best places he has ever stayed. I agree. It's located on the wharf at Fell's Point (cafes and shopping close by). It's in a beautiful renovated brick building and there are only 38 rooms available. The upper stories are condos. Due to it's size it's intimate and not overrun. We enjoyed the nicer continental breakfast (fresh blackberries and breads for example). The hallways displayed original water colors and the décor of the rooms was wonderful - 4 poster beds, antiques, plants. It feels like you are staying in a friend's nice guest room (no sterile hotel room reproductions). They also include parking in the price and the lot is right next door. I'm not sure why you would want to stay anywhere else in Baltimore.

We see that you mentioned that our hotel has 38 rooms that are all located on the first floor. We're glad that you brought this up. Often times, new guests to our hotel don't realize that all of our rooms are located on the first floor and think that the condos on the upper level are part of the hotel.

We are delighted that you enjoyed the continental breakfast that we provide. We know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We certainly want our patrons to be ready to enjoy Baltimore and have the energy to do so.

We have been looking for sometime, a "steady" place to stay in Baltimore. Our oldest daughter has lived in Baltimore since she graduated from college over three years ago. And despite our best efforts, we have finally accepted the fact that she is not moving back to New Jersey...so...
We booked our stay this past weekend through Priceline's "Express" option. I must admit I was a little concerned initially because when I called to request a king bed, I was informed by the individual who answered the phone that since we booked through a "third party" that we could not make any requests and if we did that there would be an additional charge. Upon arrival at the hotel we were early, and knew that we would not be able to check in to the room but thought we could get the paperwork out of the way. Once the individual saw how we had booked the room, we were told that we would have to wait and complete the paperwork later, when we asked about parking, it really felt that we were given the parking key reluctantly. We asked if we could leave our luggage and were told just to "leave it on the side of the counter".
As I said previously, I was worried. But when we returned to the hotel after meeting up with our daughter, we were pleasantly surprised. Raymond was on duty. A more pleasant, happy employee I do not think I have ever met in a hotel setting! We asked if our room was ready (it was then close to 4) he checked and said that it still wasn't but he would upgrade us (at no charge) to a lovely room with a court yard view. He continued to be helpful the rest of the evening offering suggestions, calling for the shuttle and making us feel at home.
Our room was lovely. Cozy, comfortable. The bed was terrific. Breakfast was very nice, somewhat European in style.
The next morning the gentleman who was on the desk (I'm afraid I do not remember his name) was also terrific. Very friendly and helpful.
We were so happy with our stay at the Inn, we hope to return often. We would like to consider the Inn our Home away from Home.

Room Tip: Although a room with a wharf view are very nice, don't be put off if you have a courtyard view...
