Great place for families. You can bring your own food and eat lunch in the picnic areas. Great family place

I was glad we stopped. Reviews were not great. The zoo was clean and even though it was a hot day we saw a lot of animals. My teenage girls and I had a fun time and it was a good way to start are time in Baltimore. I would definitely return.

WE took our grandchildren to the zoo while visiting Baltimore. They had great time. This a smallish zoo, but clean and the animals looked well cared for.

Really neat elephant enclosure. Saw some animals that aren’t at our local zoo. Chimps, rhinos, awesome lions. It doesn’t take too long to get through. Mostly shaded. A lot of walking.

We didn't see all of the zoo because of the heat. There are some air conditioned exhibits and a good part of the park has shaded paths. What we did see was impressive. Nice sized areas for the larger animals. Chimpanzees were very active. Docents in many areas to share information. Not too many snack and gift shops which helps the zoo experience, main gift shop at entrance/exit. Had a snack at the Oasis snack bar between the giraffes and the elephants and the grilled pretzels with cheese were amazing. Free parking. If local purchase tickets through AAA for some good savings.
