It's been awhile but for the train lovers you cannot beat it. Plus downtown Baltimore is right there too.

“Train Lovers Heaven”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

Give yourself plenty of time to see all the wonderful exhibits. There are indoor and outdoor train exhibits that are a must to see. They offer a quick train ride for the kids. It's very easy to get to with plenty of parking.

“Fabulous Rail History”
Reviewed February 25, 2012

If you are interested in trains and their history and impact on our our country, ths place should not be missed! The facility features trains from every era, with several exhibits on loan from the Smithsonian. The main portion of your tour takes place in the confines of what was once a fully functioning roundhouse. It's huge! But don't miss the other buildings and the cars that are on display outside. One of the cars contains a fabulous HO gauge train layout of the original B&O route. From steam to diesel, this is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Well worth the admission fee. We encountered volunteers at several locations during our tour, and each was eager to share their knowledge with us.
