“Great side trip!”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We were in Baltimore for a wedding and had a bit of extra time to site see. We took the water taxi from Baltimore's inner harbor over to Fells Point where we enjoyed a stroll through the cobblestone streets and a delightful seaside lunch.
Highly recommend this is a 3-4 hour side trip when in Baltimore.

“Great place to walk around and eat”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We had a great time walking around, investigating the streets and eating. Go!

Fell's Point is one of the really charming and walkable neighborhoods near downtown. Definitely worth your time. If you're staying in Harbor East, it's an easy 10-15 minute walk. Stroll around, enjoy the architecture of the old houses, eat at one of the very good restaurants (or classic diners), have a drink at a local bar.

This is where the funky is still alive in Baltimore. There are lots of shops, resturants and watering holes to visit.

“Fells Point was AWESOME”
Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Even if it was cold we had a great time walking around. This place was perfect for everyone. It has a little of every thing. Try Vikki`s in the market place in the center of town...you will not be disappointed... the food and. Prices are AWESOME... spent a lot of time just shopping and having fun. The true meaning of shop to you drop at Fells Point.

“Never Been There, You Have to Go!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Fells Points is an interesting area, mixed with the old and new. In the past (1800's) it was a dock area, and much of that influence is still visible.

After that it was a middle class working man's area with the accompanying eateries, etc.

About 20 years ago a lot of the Latino population of the town (especially Salvadorians) moved there. Of course they brought their dancing and eating places.

So that is the mixture that makes it a delightful place. The variety of food is amazing. Various boutiques including period clothing abound.

My only suggestion is to not visit on Friday or Saturday night as the clubs and other venues are full of high school and college students. This is not for everyone.

It should definitely be on your visiting and bucket lists.
