Easy to get to and make sure you watch the short video before you walk around on your own, you will definately learn more about our country's history.

It's a nice walk and interesting historical place. I did not take a tour which might have been better. I enjoy a good fort and this was as good as any.

Our family really enjoyed our visit to Ft McHenry. It isn't a big place but very well done - don't miss the introductory movie - we really learned a lot about the war of 1812 that none of us really knew. In addition, the fort has other historical significance to make for a very interesting visit.

There are some great views of the bay from this location! The museum is well presented, and at the time we were there on a Saturday there were guides in the fort in period costume and performing period activities which added to the experience. We spent about 2 hours in total touring the facility. Be prepared to pay a fee to visit the monument.
