Unfortunately, because of time restraint we were unable to view all four ships. Close to the aquarium, we viewed the submarine and the lightship. The Submarine was very tight with small hatch doors to walk through and smelled like it was still stuck in the 40's. Other than those two facts, it was my absolute favorite. So much gadgetry and machinery, from a totally different era, for the eyes to take in. In my opinion, absolute must see.

I visited the USS Constellation, the oldest of the 4 historic ships in port. I strongly recommend taking the portable phone to do the audio tour as you will get the full benefit of the tour, which is self guided. There was even the firing of a canon (no canonball) at 11:15 am. LOVED it! Learned so much about how sailors lived and fought.

Visitors to the Inner Harbor can visit any one of four ships (or all of them), but the most interesting was the interactive tour of the U.S.S. Constellation, a sloop-of-war from 1854. The ship is rigged out as it was in its day of intercepting slave running ships.
