The Walters Art Museum has examples of just about everything -- classical European art, of course, but also art from typically un- or under-represented cultures, such as Nepal and Tibet. The collection is distributed across two or three buildings that are connected in unintuitive ways, so be sure to keep consulting the floor plan to be sure that you've seen every nook and cranny. I found it to be worth two visits in a brief visit to Baltimore. It is across the street from a stop on the free Charm City Circulator Purple Route, at the Washington Monument. The staff is very helpful, one even helping me figure out how to get from the Walters to the Baltimore Museum of Art on public transportation.
