“BABE RUTH HITS ANOTHER HR”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

As a last minute idea, we visited the birthplace of Babe Ruth, before attending a game at Camden Yard and we were glad we did. For baseball lovers it is a treasure of items and stories about the legendary "sultan of swat". From childhood pictures to his monstrous bat, to items that I had never even heard of, we saw them all. There is a film that tells the story of Babe Ruth with many incidents that I had never heard or seen and this film can be purchased. There are also many items dealing with the Orioles and their history. I found this to be very interesting even though I am not a great fan of Baltimore.
I am retired military and the fee was waved.
Yes, it is a small place, but in a great location with even a gift shop.
For all lovers of baseball; this is a must place to visit.

“Cool place”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

This was neat to see - they do a nice job and its a good way to spend 30 minutes. If you stay at the Hampton hotel next to Camden Yards, you get in for half price. Lots of neat things to see and they had a cool short film (6-7 minutes) on the history of the star spangled banner.

“Wow!”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

It is a few blocks away from Camden Yards. I love the baseballs on the sidewalk. My sons enjoyed following them. The steps to the door were high and steep (children will need assistance). Fascinating how much is displayed about his life, his house, his career. It is a must see for any baseball fan.

“Definitely worth a visit.”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

We were in town for an O's game and had some time to kill between lunch and the game. We followed the 60 (count 'em) baseballs painted on the sidewalk from Oriole Park to the Museum and are glad we did. Lots of great little facts about "The Babe" that we found interesting and just a really cool museum. The staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area for a game.
