If you are in the Baltimore area you have to go to the National Aquarium. There is nothing else like it. Very well laid out. You feel a very peaceful sense of calm as you amble thru taking time to see all the displays. It is great for adults and children.

This is not a kid aka stroller friendly place. So me and my teens passed my 1 month old back and fourth. Now I’m down in the back. Bathrooms had “water” all over the floors. The air must of been broke because it was hot and smelly of course with people elbow to elbow. This was a $200 trip for me and my 4 kids. Not to mention the gift shop items I got. Now I can say been there done that and won’t be back.

Hi Graysx6. Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m disappointed to hear that your visit fell short of your expectations. Visitor safety is a top priority here at the National Aquarium and the stroller policy is focused on ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests. We do aim to offer alternatives and accommodations for families when necessary, including carriers, however it sounds like this many not have worked well for you. If you have further feedback on how your visit could have been more enjoyable, please connect with me directly at social@aqua.org. I hope you’ll return and give us another chance to impress you and your family!

There is so much to see and do there. Plenty of talks to listen to, a variety of different areas to see. Lots of walking so be prepared for that

The National Aquarium has wonderful displays which let you imagine you are actually on location in the rain forest, swimming near a reef, visiting Australia, and ocean waters around the world. I loved the peacefulness of walking by beautiful displays. There are hands on educational activities for children and 4D movies on dophins and sharks.
