The National Aquarium is one of Baltimore’s greatest attractions. The layout and exhibits of aquatic wildlife are the best on the East Coast. Highly recommend.

We have visited here twice in 15 years with our entire family. This is one place you have to see. Much to see with the giant fish tank, sharks, fish, and many other aquatic animals. They also have an eatery inside to fill your hungry stomach. I would definitely recommend visiting this Aquarium when in town.

I understand that rents are expensive. Yet to pay twenty + dollars for kids gets a bit rich. After all you are just looking at fish and no groupon offered.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. I am disheartened that you did not find your experience with us to be fully valuable. We aim to engage guests beyond simply viewing amazing creatures, through immersive habitats, daily expert talks and animal encounters. As a nonprofit organization, your entry fee helps us feed our 20,000 animals, continue our conservation and education programs and more - we thank you for your support! I sincerely hope you will consider joining us again, perhaps for one of the many community programs we offer, when you can enter for less. Half-Price Friday Nights and Maryland Mornings are two I can specifically recommend. If you have further feedback, please connect with me directly at social@aqua.org. I hope you'll give us another chance to impress you! Thank you.

It has been many years since I've been to the aquarium. When my wife and I decided to visit, I discovered the Insider's Tour. You get a 2-1/2 tour of the aquarium by one of the staff. You get to start your tour before the aquarium officially opens, so the exhibits are not crowded. You get an insider's perspective on the exhibits. There were 4 people on this tour.

You get to go directly to some of the best exhibits as well as into the staff areas. We visited a room full of frogs in glass cases, and learned from a staff member why the poison dart frogs are not poisonous in captivity. We got to feed some of the fish, something that regular visitors cannot do. We got to ask lots of questions and find out the answers. We basically saw all of the exhibits, except for the dolphins and jellyfish. After the tour was over, we went to those exhibits. We could stay in the aquarium after the tour was over. The tour was a good value for the money. Because there is no aquarium in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., this is our National Aquarium. It's well worth a visit.

After a dozen trips to the Aquarium over the years, we bought tickets for an Insider's Tour. What fun! We got to go behind the scenes and see the vet office, the place where they raise food (e.g., mealworms) for the creatures, and even feed the fish. A great way to see the aquarium differently.
