the place is very nice - my girlfriend took me there for my birthday.
the salad was quite good, she only got the crab soup - she thought
it was good, but not spectacular- she didn't realize it was tomato not cream base.
I had the squash risotto - unlike the other person - I would only give
this a "good" - it need some salt or onions - had too much of a
allspice mix that isn't great unless you are eating it with poultry/beef.
I know they needed a to vegan entree - maybe cook in a little more veggie broth
or with some asian/soy/sugar combo - would be better and still vegan.
We had a free piece of pound cake - which was a little dry - maybe they weren't selling much during all the snow days. But the ice cream that came with it was quite
excellent. It is some gourmet brand - I forget the name.
The place is very cute - and it appears the meat/seafood dishes are much
better. They are trying to incorporate kitchen training for some people in
need of employment training - so their heart is definitely in the right place.
It is a personable place - its definitely worth checking out -
and for its ranking well-priced.
