Best coffee around owners are on the premises staff is #1. The only deli and fresh baked goods in town. Evelyns sour cream pound cake is a must try.

When you are in West Texas, save up your sandwich hunger and grocery needs for a visit to Stone Village Market. True, it's small, but they carry some of the same brands as Central Market and Whole Foods, and we've seen some of the same gift-type items in art museum shops. Really -- out in the vast spaces of West Texas! Excellent. (Please understand that the five-bubble rating takes into consideration that it is a deli/grocery store, not by any means a fancy restaurant.)

The offering were way more than we expected. The coffee was fantastic, and they had a very scrumptious deli counter. They offered some of the same quality meats and organic items we find in our favorite stores in Dallas.

We pass through Ft. Davis several times a year and have found that some of the best food is inside the small Stone Village Market grocery. Its a small place that has organic and hard to find foods - an unusual find in far west remote rural Texas. They have a deli counter that offers large homemade sandwiches, fresh baked breads, pies, and pastries, good cheeses, and deli salads (macraroni and potatoe). High quality foods. There are no seats inside but some small tables on the porch. Its more of a grab and go place. If you are passing through it would make a good place to stop and pick up a picnic lunch. Due to the high quality at a fair price, we go there often and highly recommend it. Friendly service too.
