I don't stay in a B&B very often, but this was definitely my best experience. The privacy of the cabins balanced nicely with the friendliness of the hosts. It was the best of both worlds. The cabins are cozy and comfortable...2 beds w/ thick comforters and lots of pillows, a dining table for 2, and (my favorite part) 2 plush rocking chairs with a reading lamp and table between them. I loved to sit there and read in the evening. The kitchenette is nicely appointed with an efficient fridge, a small microwave, and a coffee pot (with mugs!) Many choices are available for breakfast and Jennie will accommodate any special diets (I'm diabetic). I loved the blueberry whole-grained waffles! I will definitely stay here every time l am in Ft. Davis. The hosts are very knowledgeable about local flora, fauna, and history, and events. Jeremiah

Room Tip: The duplex cabins face either the main building or the desert and distant cemetery. Odd numbers face desert, even face in. I faced the desert and liked the view and feeling of vast empty space.

You couldn't ask for better rates, better hosts, & are down to earth. Breakfasts are excellent, especially Bluberry muffins. Helpful & very knowledgeable about ALL surrounding area--terrain, wildlife, restaurants, & tourist attractions. So nice & quiet; excellent darkness for star gazing. Good people, Good accommodations, just damn NICE.

Nice people, nice place. Room was comfortable and included refrigerator and microwave. Dining table and four chairs and two swivel rockers. Front porch to sit and watch the stars or distant storms. Heat/Cool ac was nice one cool morning. We opened the windows at night, and let the dry cool mountain air in. Very quiet. Breakfasts were tasty and fresh. Orange juice was very good. Jenny was full of information about the area and was nice, nice, nice. Will definitely stay again if we come back to this area.

Room Tip: They all have plenty of parking and beautiful views of the countryside.

Mountain Trails Lodge cabins were great. Not much space but we spent very little time in the cabins since we were out sight seeing or hiking. Very clean, homey feel, and loved the little wood deck porch. The owners were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfasts served is worth going back....outstanding chef!

The cabins are very clean. It is so quiet there if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The breakfast is a home cooked and very good and plenty of food. The owners are very polite and very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a very nice and quiet place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back have the best view.
