The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was interesting. Views were awesome. The service was the best we could ever remember having. Could not have asked for more.

“Gluten-free diner's dream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

This restaurant overlooks the glorious Columbia River and has a wall of windows so there is not a bad table in the house. The menu is marvelous-- we were there for lunch-- and they will make anything you want gluten-free. They have a dedicated gluten-free kitchen area with a gluten-free fryer so I had fish and chips for the first time in seven years. A real treat for me. Be warned, however, the extended dinner menu is not available until 4 p.m. by the host's watch. No exceptions!

“Fabulous Food on the Columbia River”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

We happened upon the Bridgewater Bistro by chance. The outside looks like a warehouse but the inside was beautifully renovated and charming. Fabulous views of the river from all seats. Had soup and salad and they were good. The chowder was great as was the salad. A real find.

“Very good food and location”

Pre-arranged a large group dinner. Service not well organized despite checking details 2 hrs before. But food was good when it came. Very convenient for HI Express. Good view of Columbia River and the Astoria Bridge.
