We enjoyed this casual setting with a great river view of the mighty Columbia. We were greeted with a friendly smile, the fish was nicely done, and we'd visit the Ship Inn again!

We enjoyed our food, but the place is starting take on a more "worn" appearance than previously. The cod was quite good, but the batter probably isn't to everyone's liking. Although the menu doesn't mention it, if you order it with "Mr. K" you get fewer fries and a large serving of cole slaw instead. The Ship Inn had good food, but its no longer anything special.

The seafood platter was really big and can be shared. The clam chowder was very nice, but over all this place is nothing to rave over. Just above average.

The view of the Columbia River and passing ships is seen from almost every table. The trolly also goes right by the windows. We tried this restaurant because we had heard the fish and chips were the best in town. No disappointments! The cod was flavorful and tasted fresh. The coleslaw was better than expected as most restaurant slaw tastes pre-packaged. This was like my Grandmother made. As a bonus, the rolling chairs used at the tables for seating were extremely comfortable. Will go back to try their homemade pies. Prices are reasonable and they have senior pricing.
