We visited Astoria, OR for the first time and were fortunate to have booked our stay at Hotel Elliott. It is a boutique hotel located in the center of downtown Astoria. Hotel Elliott was built in 1924 and has been totally modernized while still retaining the motif of the former hotel. The hotel provides a wonderful continental breakfast each morning. It was the best continental breakfast we have had at a hotel. Coffee, tea and ice water are available 24/7. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing tips regarding nearby eating establishments and points of interest in Astoria. The hotel is located within walking distance of a number of great dining establishments. We had such a great experience that we shortened our next stay in Port Angeles, WA and booked 4 more nights at Hotel Elliott in Astoria.

Room Tip: The rooms are all good rooms. Once just needs to select the room that best suits his/her needs based on number of occupants and level of amenities in the room.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Hotel Elliott! It is a gorgeous building in a great location downtown. Everything was clean and well kept, and we were very happy with our stay!

The Best Things:
- The rooftop deck! Omg, such an amazing place to hang out and watch the sunset.
- The workout room. Awesome, and has tons of good equipment.
- The bed. Super soft!
- Heated floors in the bathroom.
- The overall aesthetic...it's really a beautiful place!

Could use Improvement:
- Not much at all, to be honest! The breakfast was really basic, and the scrambled eggs had dairy in them :-( Not a huge deal, and definitely not a deal breaker!

Seriously, stay here. It is awesome!

This was our second stay and it was yet again amazing! The rooms are comfortable, staff is super friendly, breakfast yummy and the rooftop view at sunset is fantastic. It is a little pricy but the location can't be beat in my opinion. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Enjoyed an evening in Astoria in mid July. The rooms were nice and comfortable. We booked a King and the small suite for our kids. We loved the location, just a short walk to restaurants and the waterfront.

We stayed in the Hotel Elliott after a day-trip exploring the Oregon Coast from Portland to Astoria. The hotel has a terrific location in downtown Astoria that was within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the waterfront trail.

We particularly enjoyed the hotel's rooftop deck, a terrific spot to enjoy a glass of wine (carefully carried up from the lobby wine bar) while enjoying a 360 degree view of Astoria.

The rooms are comfortably furnished and our bath was well-appointed if somewhat cozy.

While the young woman at the front desk from Missouri at check-out was a hospitality superstar, the wine bar staffing left a lot to be desired as the bartender didn't seem to know which wines were red or white.

Overall, a very good experience.
