“Great coffee on a chilly morning”
Reviewed May 26, 2012

This little coffee shop is filled with memorabilia from the early Astoria days (including a 1930's dentist chair) and is housed in a classic old hotel (now modernized). Coffee, pastries, egg dishes available. Back wall has a large outdoor neon sign ( operating )from an old Portland OR coffee shop which is great! Good stuff!

“Nice location and good lunch”
Reviewed May 9, 2012

The panini sandwiches are good, although they take awhile (not a fast-food cafe). The coffee is OK, but not as good as the Astoria Coffeehouse. The location in an old hotel and the decor are great.

“Best French Toast Ever!”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

This coffee shop is attached to the Commodore Hotel. We went there for breakfast and I was so pleasantly surprised! I was expecting just coffee and baked goods, bagels, etc. But they had a small menu too! I had the french toast and it was melt in your mouth good. The latte was great too. And the staff was really nice and friendly.

“Questionable...”
Reviewed April 16, 2012

First off, the coffee is good. However, the cream I poured in my first cup was sour, and after sitting at the bar one afternoon noticing the raw cookie dough basking in the sun and the general state of the counter with dirty dishes and food prep mixed together, I wasn't surprised. But the coffee is good.
