Meaning this place is straight out of Twin Peaks. If you don't know what Twin Peaks is, and therefore don't wish you could spend time there, then you may not be charmed by the Labor Temple. But if you you're like me and like your bars with a little log-lady spirit, then this is the place for you.

We were looking for a place to eat and drink late after the theatre and this was very close by and suited us fine. Friendly staff and quick service. If you want to meet the locals this is the place.

Rude bartender, and disappointing.
Customer service lacking. Probably did not
like me and showed it, and feeling is mutual.

Husband and i stopped in for breakfast on a weekend visit to Astoria. Our server Shawna told us some history on the neat old building which use to serve as a union hall for the laborers back in the day. The owner also owns the portway at the end of town. I had a taco omelet which was very tasy with nice crispy hashbrowns, and a side of bacon and a good bloody mary. husband had a BLT and fries. Good food, nice portions, and very reasonible price.

A great historical building built in 1924 just after the Astoria flood of 1922. We had the omelets with hashbrowns and both were fantastic. They serve you a lot of food for a low price. Bar and restaurant both have odd-style character with excellent service and a lot of locals and regulars hanging around. A hidden gem in Astoria.
