What can I say, if you love good beer, Fort George is the place! We go every time we're in town and usually have their sausage platter and two Vortex's (IPAs)!! We sit at the bar and were lucky enough on one of our visits to see Pete Carroll (Seattle Seahawks coach) two bar stools down!! On another trip we were shown the brew area. It's a great place with friendly staff, good food and excellent beer!! Enjoy!!

“Great pub food..”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Great resturant. We got here just in time. By the time we left there was a line out the door. Great fries, salad, kids meals and super service. The kids loved watching the workers make the beer. We will definately go again when visiting Astoria.

This was an awesome stop on our brew-cation. The beer lived up to the reviews and the food was delicious as well. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and knowledgable.

“Awesome beer AND food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

We've stopped here many times on our way to the coast. It's a great spot to try a few beers and have lunch or dinner, and get a growler filled to go. They have a huge beer selection and a beer for everyone. It's in a great old building and just a few blocks off the main road through town. The vegetarian chili is simply amazing.

“Grrat place for some grub and a beer or three”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

Stopped in for lunch on a Wed. on our way to Cannon Beach. It was quite busy for 1:30 on a wed. afternoon, which I guess is a good sign, but the 30 minute wait to finally be seated was torturous. Finally we were seated and we shared a beer sampler. Most of the beers we tried above average, and a few of there seasonal/specialty beers were quite good, especially the 2 barrel aged beers we tried. For was also very good, and did not take to long to arrive after ordering. Wife had a turkey panini which she loved, I had the steak and bean burrito which was also quite good and very filling. Our son had the children's fish and chips which was made with albacore which I tried and thought were pretty good but he seemed to be more interested in just eating tortilla chips and fries. Prices were reasonable. Overall, had a good experience once we were able to get a table.
