“Great visit”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Very interesting and very well done. It rained on our visit but that made it feel all the more authentic. Super friendly staff. Very well done, great educational opportunity. Highly recommended.

“Interesting piece of history”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

Enjoyed the visitor center and the reconstructed fort. Also the walk to the lookout points (canoe landing sites). Can only imagine what Lewis & Clark and their group thought/felt when they wintered here.

“History comes alive”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Great place to visit with the kids. Seeing where Lewis and Clark stayed and how they lived while waiting to go back East is well worth the time and money. A must to see if you are in the Astoria area.

“We just breezed through, we did not go into the Visitors center, we did drive around”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

We had limited time so we just drove thru the park some. We stopped and walked around the canoe landing, and took a few pictures.

“Fort Clatsop a must see”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

If you get a chance, go to Fort Clatsop, where Lewis and Clark spent the winter in 1805. Great interpretive center, but the fort is so interesting. When it is quiet, you can almost feel what they experienced. Nice pathways. These men and woman were made of tuff stuff.
