A business partner recommended this restaurant and I was certainly glad they did. It was difficult to find as it is located between overgrown trees and the letters on the awning are not clearly defined, but rather faded out. The service is also undefined as most people order from the counter and then sit down and some of the staff is willing to take your order and deliver the food. This was confusing, especially because it was so crowded with people standing around the tables waiting for their orders. The food and bread makes up for the initial challenges. Each table gets a place of assorted bread. We got sliced french bread and focaccia with tomato, onions and cheese on it. It was second to none. So much so I went 20 minutes out of my way before my 6 hour drive back to Atlanta to bring back different types of bread they were so incredibly good. At lunch I had the Bang Bang Shrimp, which are surprisingly large shrimp, battered and fried with a sweet and spicy chili sauce on them, atop a salad. It was excellent, I also had a bite of a friends sandwich which was also extraordinary. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I look forward to my next business trip to Jax so I can go again.....and bring back more bread of course!!!!!

Large plates with complimentary bread all under $11 a plate. Don't let the exterior turn you away. The small atmosphere and shared seating makes for a unique experience. It is only open weekdays 11-2 so it does get busy but you will always get a seat

Had the Kobe burger and it was absolutely to die for. Juicy delicious kobe beef on a wonderful fresh baked bun and it goes so well with the sweet spread they put on it. Boyfriend had a turkey sandwhich with goat cheese. If you like goat cheese you must get this sandwhich!!!!! We got 3 desserts and shared it between our party and of course they were all amazing also. This place is defienelty worth the wait and tease of standing in line while you smell the delicious bakery.

Great lunch at very reasonable prices. So worth the wait! I like the ambiance as well:) I rarely give five star but this place deserves it.

The food is fantastic. Going early you still may have to wait in line but it is worth it. A wide variety of sandwiches from turkey to shrimp are offered. The salads are huge. Do not pass up the desserts. Take one to go and then enjoy it for days since they are enormous. Beware this sandwich shop will ruin you for life when compared to other popular places.
