“Quick and good”

Always clean, good food and quick service. I think their portions are definitely enough for two ladies to share!

“Great lunch place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2012 via mobile

I love going here for lunch and getting the spring rolls and lettuce wraps. Also they carry my favorite green tea! It's nice to sit outside on the patio, and service is quick and good.

“Asian food for beginners”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2012

I have been here about three times now, and overall I am not a big fan of this place and only go here when forced to. Mama Fu's is a quick service restaurant in the same restaurant chain as Moe's Southwestern Grill, with an asian fusion focus. There are Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, etc dishes and there is a wide variety in the menu, so if one person wants curry and another wants Pad Thai, that is possible. You order your food at the register, are given a number, and the food is brought to your table. Sometimes the service has been great, other times my food sat under a heat lamp even though it wasn't busy at all.

The problem I have found is that the food isn't that good, and that is a misrepresentation of the "real" dish that it is imitating. This place is a good place for an 'Americanized' version of popular asian dishes for people that do not experiment a lot with food. This place is not for people that eat a lot of asian food and know what the food is actually supposed to taste like.

Overall, this place has a fun vibe and is a different place to go for lunch. The food is not bad and will not make you sick or anything like that, but it just does not compare to the real thing.

“Fresh, Quick, Tasty!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2011

A step up in quality from most oriental places with inventive twists are all over the menu. Priced reasonably, served quickly, staff in the front is knowledgeable about what's going on in the kitchen and can discuss whatever you need to know about the ingredients and preparation, which is handy if you have any specific dietary concerns, like nuts or sugar for instance. Highly recommended for lunch, it's always busy but not rushed feeling. Relaxed in the evening, it's a good choice for people wanting to have a conversation.
