Upon arriving there were three ladies behind the front desk and I believe the right hand had no idea what the left hand was doing. After about 20 minutes everything was straight and we received the key to our Yurt (if you don't know what they are...they are AWESOME...look them up). We were surprised that we only received one key for 8 people, but we made it work. We LOVED the Yurt and the fact that it had private restroom facilities for men & women. It would be nice if during the festivities of this weekend the staff hadn't told everyone about them and we could have had some privacy (which is why we chose these in the first place). We would have like there to be outlets outside of the Yurt(s), as we rented a golf cart from Specialty Golf Carts (they actually delivered to us on site) and it needed to be charged. In there defense Bob (introduced himself as the manager of the park) said they were going to be adding outdoor outlets.

All in all we had a GREAT time and hopefully will be going back again.

Nice clean park live entertainment at clubhouse/bar.decent for bar food. Don't understand how pecan rv rates higher. I stayed at pecan on my way home. Basically a parking lot with full hook up. For the same price.

We won a 3 night stay at this park with our camping club. Easy drive to it, right off the highway, (which you really dont notice AT ALL)! Upon arriving on Friday evening, people were pleasent and escorted us to our spot ( which we upgraded for a small but worth it , charge) We were right on the lake and closest to the beach area that you could get. Across the lake, at the cafe, they were doing karaoke. Sounded like a good time!! We got all set up and relaxed. We had our 4 teenage sons with us, a friend our theirs and a girlfriend. Needless to say, a packed camper. They ALL had so much fun that weekend that they asked if we could come back next year. There is blow up things for kids the climb all over, in the lake ($5 per kid, per day)it is FREE to swim though. They went fishing, rented a paddle boat and were ALL over that lake looking for the "biggest one" (catch and release , of course) We packed up Sunday and went home because it was storming. All in all was a great weekend, clean , friendly spot that we would definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Heard the cheese fries at the cafe were AWESOME, but we never ate there.

We visited there earlier this year and was there for 3 months. The woman at the desk when we arrived her name was Donna was a little rude with her responses as we had questions since it was our first time there. During that time I think the grass was mown 4 times. There are cats literally everywhere. I had cat prints on the hood of my car. When you tell the staff they simply say "yea we have cats everywhere". We got up one morning and a cat was laying in our chair and it must have been shedding, hair all our the chair. Now to the cafe; the food is very good cafe food. During our stay the specials never changed. A variety would be nice. Although when Thomas cooks it does not meet expectations. We ordered food to go once and asked him when would it be ready he said "I don't know" and never gave us a time frame. We left and came back in about 15 minutes. The food was not ready which was ok. But then we waited another 30 minutes, for a club sandwich and a BLT. And after all that wait the BLT was a little L and a little T and 2 strips of B. Got a pizza once that he cooked, dont know how he did it but it was terrible. This was the 2nd time that he cooked for us and would be the last. Anytime we went over there and he was cooking we left and went out to eat. The manager Bob drives around on his yellow golf cart doing whatever he does, I know it isn't making his associates mow. I have heard stories about Bob but I won't go there. Unfortunately this place has some of the best potential in my opinion and the owner must be blind to it all.

Had just purchased a new rv from a nearby dealer and decided to stay a nite before heading back to Tampa. Called and had no reservation and was greeted by an very kind gentleman named "Fred" explained that we were in need of a pull thru spot and he was kind enough to assure us that he would get us one. Upon arrival we were having some issues with our brake control for the rv, good ole Fred comes right to help us with our issues. Followed him our spot, where again he gave us great advice on what we needed for a our sewer hookup, after we purchased some supplies here comes Fred again to help setup, what a kind person, our family really appreciated it., who does these acts of kindness anymore, well Fred does. The campground was beautiful, clean bathrooms, a general store, a restaurant, a pool, a lake to swim, an even a playground for the kids. We look forward to our next visit.

We arrived coming from a long journey. We were greeted by two rude ladies at the front gate. And were directed to the Resort office where the front desk people were nice, However this person named Steve came into the office and started being a bully, and was loud and rude. This person Steve was combative and really needs to be in a jail cell somewhere pushing criminals because that's how he made us feel. Do yourself a favor Go somewhere else

Room Tip: If you must stay here stay near the lake
