“Nice beaches with a different feel”

Beach was beautiful and the rangers were nice. Found some awesome shells on the beach including a huge intact sand dollar. Drive is nice from Jacksonville. You do have to pay a fee for entry.

“A day at the beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2013

I love this 5 mile island it's a hidden gem where you can swim (no lifeguards) at the South Park, fish at the North Park and walk 2 miles between each park. If you enjoy shelling come to the park 1 hour after high tide ! There is an entrance fee of $5 but well worth the fee just for the privacy and quiet of a day at the beach. Sunset is magnificent !

“Nice state park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2013

Unfortunately it rained a lot while we were there and campsite was muddy. It did dry up after a day or so afterwards. Nice paved bike trails and miles of beaches.

“Beachie Kleen”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Talbot on the North and Hugenot across the inlet are the best beaches in north Florida by far! Little Talbot best for family beach activities. Friendly professional staff, most welcoming and constantly cleaning/prepping all facilities to assure maximum family fun with minimum effort and inconvenience. Tons of hiking/bike trails and beach with gorgeous views. Great, plentiful parking in paved lots(Hugenot permits limited driving on the beach!) and both have leashed dogie facilities for pet lovers. Never camp so don't have an opinion. Fishing good from the southern beach area and heavily fished on weekends as is the old bridge pier. Must bring own drinks and treats as no vending. Watch sunburns as there is no shelter available except in the picnic area.

“Quiet Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

I really like this beach. Its much quieter off season like Fall and Spring. There is a long board walk you need to walk before getting to the beach so if you get tired quickly this may not be the beach for you.
