Beautiful, quiet refuge, and great place to watch birds.

Little Talbot Island is one of the nicest beaches in Florida. The sand is white, very soft and warm and the water is so refreshing. We have been going to Little Talbot for many years now and it remains unspoiled with great parking and really helpful park rangers. We find beautiful seashells on the beach and the facilities such as the pavilion and the restrooms are always clean and maintained.

I have been going to Little Talbot Island State Park since I was a child. It's perfect for families with plenty of parking, picnic pavillions, clean restrooms and showers to wash the sand and salt off. There is also plenty of privacy. I go often alone because I feel so safe here. the only downfall is it's quite a haul from the parking areas to the beach - be prepared to walk and haul all of your beach needs down the stretching boardwalks. Talbot is a great place to visit any time of year. I have never camped here; but hear the campgrounds are also clean and family friendly! This is a must visit state park when visiting NE Florida - plenty of natural, peaceful beauty abounds!

We camped in a pop-up camper on site 33. If you plan on eating your meals at the camp site, bring all your food. There aren't any stores close by. There is a new Publix on Amelia Island other than that you may find a Kangaroo or an equivalent store. There is a Wal-Mart near Amelia Island.

All the camp sites are very shaded & the sites are about medium in size. Our pop-up fit just fine.

The restrooms were VERY clean with plenty of toilet paper & hand towels. The shower areas were very nice & clean!

There was no breeze so the mosquitoes were bad.

You have to drive to the beach. The beach is lovely & has a bathroom, changing facilities & showers available.

It's a beautiful beach & there are a few shells to collect if interested.

Definitely a go back to place.

The Sandollar Reataurant which is near by is excellent! We had crab cake sliders! YUM, YUM, YUM!

Sliders Beachfront restaurant in Fernandina Beach is another great place to eat.
