“Love this place!”

This is a family favorite for good food, caring staff and comfortable setting . We've come here for years and they don't disappoint us... Ever! Except when they don't have my favorite conch chowder ( hint... Hint)! Love this restaurant .

In the city there are multiple Ale houses and thry all taste the same (duh) but i dont mind because i like the food. The zinger potato chips are the best and their desserts are heaven in my mouth!

“Good food, great atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

The ale house where we ate was off of Webb Rd in Orange Park, FL. It was not easy to find as it is located in a strip mall. Look for Hooters, then turn into the strip mall it is in. The ale house is located on the left of the mall. This is a popular place to eat, but we didn't have to wait long. While we were waiting, we went to the bar for drinks. The drinks were good and the bar tender was friendly and efficient. After being seated at our table, we found the waiter friendly, helpful, and very funny. One of the specials was fresh Maine lobster. It was prepared just right and was delicious! My hubby ordered the crab cake and coconut shrimp. His food disappeared quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant and would eat here again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the difficulty in finding it.

“Holy Smokes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

On our last evening to Jacksonville on a business trip, we decided to go to Miller's Ale. We had heard good things about it and it was close so we gave it a try. We first walked in and it was quite busy. There was no available room in the main dining area so they offered us a table out in the heated patio. We had no issues with that, however they failed to tell us that is was a smoking section. We opened the door and were blasted with the overwhelming amount of smoke. Hungry and tired we chose to just deal with it. We were seated at a table and overlooking the menu when our server asked if we were part of a rehearsal dinner. We were not so he politely asked us to move. He didn't give a table to us just asked if we could move. We were a little irritated but it wasn't his fault the other server sat us there. We ordered our food and silently suffered with the second hand smoke. When we did get our food it was ok. Nothing impressive, I had a BBQ Chicken Sandwich. It tasted like a frozen chicken patty smothered with cheese and bbq sauce. It was good just not impressive. I had a baked potato instead of fries and that was great. Our service was good, she kept the drinks re-filled. I wish I remember more about the experience however I'm still suffering from smoke inhalation 4 days later and can't remember much other than the rehearsal dinner group never showed up so we moved for nothing.

This was my first time to a Miller's Ale House restaurant. The food was excellent and plentiful. All of our food was well prepared and delicious. The waitress Janessa was very nice and attentive.
