My wife and I stopped here for lunch as we had been here with the family a few months back and did not enjoy ourselves. We used to dine with them at their old location about a mile away and so we thought that they would have most of the same staff we had so enjoyed over the years. First off they had a sign that said “Please Wait to be Seated” but there was no one at the hostess station. Another couple came in behind us and so I handed out menus to all. The place was almost empty so it was not that they were so busy after what seemed like an interminable wait the hostess came around the corner from where she had been sitting. After asking how many in our party she had to scurry off and ask the wait staff who was up next. Great job minding the door.
Second off they brought me the wrong wine, I ordered bottle of the house white not knowing the house white was only served in a pitcher, silly me. Then the server poured the wine without showing the label so we had no idea it was not what we ordered. The wine was warm (room temp) so I called the server and asked for a bottle chiller it too was at room temp. We asked to speak to a manager and she told us the waitress was one of their best, the go to girl for training and the one everyone just swooned over for her professionalism. She said she was sorry about the mix up with the wine but, because it cost $12. more than the house wine she said she would comp. the difference. She forgot! I was surprised as there were not more than a dozen people in the room, with every table full and everyone running around like mad then there would be some excuse.
The food ran the gamut from tasteless to overly salted the only bright spots were the sweet potato fries and the lentil sausage soup. I returned here because I believe everyone can have a bad day and everyone deserves a second chance but I cannot recommend this place for some fries and a bowl of soup.
