My wife and I ate here and had a great experience. It's bigger and more touristy than a classic Irish Pub, but the food is tasty, they have a lot of good beers, the menu has a lot of classic options, the service was prompt and friendly and the price was very reasonable. Nothing to complain about and we will certainly go back next time we're in Jacksonville.

We walked down to The Landing especially to try some of MacCool's fare after a busy day of meetings. As expected, it was a large pub with many staff, an eclectic crowd and a great-looking menu. We decided to get some food to go instead of sitting in the noisy atmosphere.

We were directed to wait at the overflow bar and give the order, but it took a while, and another request to the host to get someone to take our order. We ordered the chicken pot pie and a serving of bread pudding. The wait was more than 30 minutes. The bill was just over 18.00 for the two items.

We were back at our room in less than 10 minutes. The pot pie was cool and runny. The taste was good but the texture reminded me of a light cream chicken soup with a minimal topping of spun crust. Disappointing. The bread pudding was very warm and tasty, and again, the portion was smaller than expected.

Well, we made it to the restaurant we planned to visit, but that's about it. I think perhaps if we had planned on a beer fest and bite to eat, we would have been more satisfied. Guess that one is checked off our list!

Typical Irish pub decor with average service. But the beer selection was excellent and the bangers and mash the best I've had. Tasty food. In touristy locale (we were tourists) but also had a good after-work crowd too. Lively atmosphere (a bit loud) on a Friday night, as expected. Overall a good entry in the Irish Pub category...

First time here with a group of 12 for an after-work business function.

Service was outstanding. Everyone went out of their way to help.

Nice beer list with plenty of choices on tap.

Food portions were huge and prices very reasonable. The Shepherd's Pie is massive! Could almost split the order with someone it is so big. Several at the table got the salmon and it was a very large and fresh piece of fish. No complaints from anyone - all food was good and reasonably priced.

Will be back soon.

A typical irish pub, but the food was outstanding and the beer selection great. The staff was friendly, and there were plenty of televisions to watch several sporting events that were going on that night. There was a live band outside, too, and they were a lot of fun to listen to. The bill came and I was surprised how moderately priced everything was.
