This off the beaten path home for lions and tigers is an extrodinary place to come and see them. You can actually participate in the feedings if you time it right which makes it even more intriguing. The ranch itself is sort of hard to find so a gps or garmin is a good idea. The place itself is not that big so you are not looking at a day long event with shops and other entertainment, the Cats are # 1 here. The people that work there consider this a lifetime mission and you know by their sincerety that is the utmost concern. This is definitely the closest you will ever come to animals this size. Bring along a towel and/or wet wipes to clean up afterward. The staff will tell all kinds of stories about the different cats as they all have their own personalities. the younger kids will love the purrs and growls that can be heard. Go early before the heat makes them lazy or very late near dinner. The Jax Zoo is not to far away if you want to make a whole day, but that is a trip in itself. Price is little high but you pay for closeness. check for specials.Bring your own refreshments as not large choice and no stores nearby.
