“Great family time & educational!”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

The evening feeding and tour was great! Everyone in our family really enjoyed this place!! I had my 8 & 10 year old kids each write a report on one of the animals before we went. One of the animals we knew nothing about so my 10 year old was so excited to write the report about the coatimundis and could not get enough of them while we were there. Their website is full of great information on which animals you will see. The volunteers seemed very knowledgeable and to really care about the animals. The area where it's located is odd and mainly residential. It's nothing fancy but all workers there were very friendly and helpful. They did have bug spray on hand and encouraged people to use it. It's VERY needed!! There are bugs so be prepared! This place isn't fancy but a really great chance to see a lot of wild cats. I thought prices were very reasonable for a family outing in Florida.

“Love these kitties!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Absolutely worth a visit- you'll never look at big cats the same way again. My husband and I have been several times now and especially love the "night feelings" because the animals are unbelievably active. Great for kids and don't forget your camera or bug spray!

“Beautiful big cats”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

The setting for this sanctuary isn't very aesthetic and the cats' pens aren't as expansive as you might hope, but the animals are wonderful to observe. The volunteers are knowledgeable and obviously give the animals great care and affection. And after an informative tour, you can spend added time just watching and enjoying the cats. The highlights are a trio of playful tiger cubs near the end of the tour -- hurry and see them before they're all grown up.

Thanks so much for visiting! We're so glad that you enjoyed your tour and that you found it to be informative, education is so important to us! We are a 501(c)(3) charity and are 100% funded by donation and our first priority is the daily care of our animals, so unfortunately aesthetics often take a back seat. We try our best though. As for the size of the enclosures, all of them are well above the regulatory minimum and all of our newer enclosures towards the back of the property are much bigger. This is what we strive to give all of our animals and will get there one day! We love our animals and only want the absolute best for them! Thanks again for coming and we hope to see you back out again soon!
