I was staying at the "Aloft" hotel near the Jacksonville Airport and was looking for a "hole in the wall" seafood restaurant. This place was recommended by the hotel. It was a 15 minute walk from the hotel and well worth it. This is no fancy place, but if you are looking for great tasting, fresh seafood and cold beer then this is your place. The staff was pretty friendly and the restaurant was clean. The food, all of mine was fried, was very hot and crisp when it came out. I had the fried seafood platter with clams, stuffed crab, cat fish, oysters, shrimp and hushpuppies. The sides, green beans and grits, were nothing to rave about, but you go to this place for the seafood!
