I had a late afternoon lunch and return for dinner. Maria is a great server and the mimosas serve on a wine glass are .expectacular. The decor is very cozy and trendy. Going back next time I visit this area for sure...:)

We stopped in at 3:00 to check it out. It was Happy Hour at 3:00. Ladies' Martini menu was $5.00 each. There were nice selections to choose from, so I tried the Cosmo and my husband had a beer. We were among 5 other customers and the only ones when we left at 4:30. It was a very relaxing experience and our server, Maria, a lovely girl from Spain, was lovely. knowledgeable and accommodating. We found common travel experiences. The music playing was selections from the 40s it seemed like, and the decor is trendy with lots of dark woods, glass and copper and typical of a California style bistro. The menu for Happy Hour is salads and appetizers. After 5:00, the regular menu is served. It was relaxing and we both agreed this was the best time to go. We checked out the evening menu before we left. We were told that a pianist comes in about 8:00, it gets louder with a full house, and the items on the menu are very good. Prices are average between $15 to $$28 for entrees like seafood, pastas and steaks. Side items included. We will go back again.

We went into this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at about 3PM, hoping for some light fare with a glass of wine. We were promptly told that brunch was STILL being served and that was the only thing available until later on. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and we were told they were out. We made a second choice and that was also unavailable. We finally hit paydirt with a third, more expensive request. We asked if perhaps there were some pretzels or chips but no go , nothing available other than brunch at 3 PM. We inquired about their facilities for small parties and our waitress ("I'm new here") said that she didn't have a brochure and that there was no one in charge who could help us. After all she told us, it is Sunday and the manager needs a day off, but she would try to call someone to find a key and show us the facilities. When a member of our party went into the bathroom said waitress was in there complaining about us and calling a member of our group a not so nice name (b-----). She eventually came back with a key to show us the party facility, to her two faced credit. Why would we EVER want to do business with this un-service oriented business? This place has advertised specials through one of the group-on type sites but they would be better off attracting and keeping customers with good and respectful customer service. I will never go back

Friends and I have given this place 2 chances to impress. First visit middle of the afternoon on Sunday and the waiter stood behind the bar and stared at us for 10 minutes before coming to the table. Then proceeded to be rude whenever he did decide to come back to our table. Second visit, took 45 minutes to get a chicken breast sandwich that was served still raw in the middle, then back to the kitchen for another 10 more minutes. Bam! Lunch hour gone. This was probably the fault of the kitchen. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I've eaten here three times. The food quality was very good 2 of 3 times, just OK the other time. The service is a bit inconsistent. It has a nice ambiance with music typically starting around 8pm. If you want to have a quiet conversation don't get seated to close to the piano!
