A very nice place to sit near the Riverwalk with a pretty view of St. Johns River. The fountain itself is so pretty. Good for single traveler to view and relax near or for couples to visit. Families would like it too. Really just a place to hang out. Immediate access to Riverwalk and Main St. drawbridge that one may walk over to get to Jacksonville Landing. I took the bus to this destination and only had to walk about one block to get to the fountain. Have a picnic here if you are on a budget and want to eat your own food one day of your trip. See it at lit up in the evening for a little more charm.

Lovely to see during the day and went back again at night when it was all lit up with different colors.

The fountain has been redone if you havent seen it in a while. Just a visual thing, not a fountain the kids can get wet in. Beautiful scenery. New lights, benches, etc. It's a great spot directly next to the Main Street Bridge on the Southbank of Downtown Jax. You can catch a water taxi from The Landing across the river. (Or walk across the bridge) The MOSH is right there and it's a nice spot to sit down and enjoy the view, or walk on the Southbank boardwalk. Parking isnt the greatest if you are a " rule follower" as MOSH says no parknig except for museum visitors but people routinely pull to the back of the lot and park. There is also a pay lot but overall parking isnt the greatest. I have been there numerous times of day and night and have always felt safe.

This little park was a very pleasant surprise as we walked from our hotel to dinner at a nearby restaurant. It is not large but has some very pleasant trees with shaded areas and wonderfully large, for the size of the park, fountains. A good place to catch your breath, enjoy the fresh air and admire the skyline across the river. If you are in the area spend a bit of time here. You will enjoy it.

This is one of my families top places to show visitors as the fountain is really neat and the views across the river can't be beat.
