Always nice for an elegant dinner on the water. We went to Sunday brunch. Great variety and price and noone rushed us.

“Horrible”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

The only thing going for this place is the view! The staff, especially management are extremely rude and very slow! The mediocre food is slopped onto the plates. I was run down by a waiter who didn't even think of apologizing. We should have left as soon as the hostess took our name with an attitude as if we were inconveniencing her! As we sat for dinner we heard the manager yelling at a staff member about food that went to the wrong table...he was saying in a very loud voice " who do u expect to pay for that". Not something you want to hear as you sit down at your table for a night out. I have heard the Lombardis treat their employees poorly but now I have witnessed it! Terrible experience. Did I mention it took forever to get a drink and the restaurant was not busy! I will not return and feel bad for the staff.

“Just Average Food & Minimal for the Cost”
Reviewed August 1, 2012

Petite Filet Mignon for $24 is just the filet and a salad. The filet was chewy and somewhat rubbery, not at all buttery, and pretty much no flavor. I choose the mushroom sauce which really tasted like beef bullion cubes and bunch of frozen mushrooms with an extra pound of salt and some flour added. I am somewhat a foodie and meat looked pathetic on the plate with a piece of curly lettuce for garnish.

My husband had the lobster bake which was a lobster, mussels, red bliss potatoes, and corn on the cob. He enjoyed it, but not enough to say he would go back again.

For dessert we split the profitirole filled with Vanilla Ice Cream which was served with warm chocolate ganache sauce. The pastry had that texture you get when a dough has been frozen and not quite fully defrosted or heated so it is almost icy flaky. The ice cream and chocolate were good though.

The waiter was very friendly, but reach right over my plate a number of times throughout the meal.

The interior is beautiful. We sat outside, which because of the overhead canopy and the sea wall really does not have much ambiance. Only a scenic view outside if you are at a table right against the wall.

My husband and I typically eat on Main St. in Patchogue, but walk by this restaurant all the time so decided to try it. We have had wonderful meals in the past at their other locations. All in all, a waste of $100. So many better choices in Patchogue that we will stick to.

“not what we expected”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

We were very disappointed. The food was not of Lombardi quality. We have been eating at Momma Lombardies for years and expected the same standards. Lobster bisque was like glue. One soup was never brought to the table. The band that was playing on the deck on July 29 was very poor and also very loud. They offered to move us inside, but at this point the view was the only thing that was enjoyable.
