Very clean hotel, nice staff, etc. Location is very close to stores and restaurants. They have a nice little breakfast area where you can grab a light breakfast without having to go out. Had another great stay at this place.

This is definitely nicer than a typical Best Western. There are more details such as historic photos and drawings as decorations in room, crown molding, granite counter top, berber carpet, microwave and fridge in room, WiFi, excellent breakfast...it was just a perfect stay. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Facility was very very clean and very well maintained.

Right off the freeway, very convenient. Stay here to save some $ if you want to stay in the Livermore/Pleasanton area. It's about 10 mins away.

Denny's next door is very convenient. However, it's also the worst one I've been to - food was cold, service even worse. There's just simply - no one.

Stayed here because it was close to the Blackhawk Auto Museum.

Very dated facility........no elevator so If you have bags and a bad back you cannot use a cart to get the bags to your room. Internet service was down......when I called the front desk the response was: "This is not a 5 Star Hotel"
Gee, no kidding

Would not stay here again.

BTW, the Denny's attached has lousy food and seems to ignore food service codes.........

I stayed for two nights over Memorial Day weekend at this hotel and overall was very pleased with the experience. Check in was quick and hassle free. I had an executive king room that was spacious and in a quiet corner of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping did a good job during my stay. Everything in the room looked relatively new and in good shape. Breakfast was quite ample in the morning with fruit, pastries, cereals, make your own waffles, beverages, etc. Internet was available for free but I did not use it. No fitness center on site, but they do offer free passes to the Bally's down the street. The iron horse trail (great for runners) is also within walking distance. The staff was helpful and professional.

Thanksgiving visit to grandkids in Danville. First timers at this property; stayed ten days and loved it.

Convenient East Bay location just off I-680 with easy in/out access. Property is clean and quiet with exceptionally friendly and competent staff. Spacious room with comfortable bed, recliner chair, nuker, fridge, and coffee maker. Free, abundant continental breakfast items and local paper on doorstep.

Variety of restaurants, Lucky (formerly Albertson's) supermarket, and Long's super-drugstore close by. Starbucks just up the road, but we preferred the Douwe Egberts (same as you can get in Europe) coffee at the nearby Valero gas station.

Probable explanation for the great staff attitude there is that management gave the housekeepers Thanksgiving Day off to be with their families. But then how many of us while at home insist on fresh towels and bedding each day?

We wholeheartedly recommend the Sycamore Inn and look forward to staying there on our next visit to Danville. And anyone in the hospitality industry who is interested in a model for how a hotel should be run would be well-advised to check out this property.
