Came here for lunch and shared a mushroom pizza and beet/arugula salad. The salad was outstanding and very large. It was a beet salad with lots of arugula. The roasted beets were super tasty, cut super thin. Also had yummy goat cheese. The pizza toppings were good, but the crust was not baked enough and it was soggy. I will return but next time will ask them to bake it longer. If it is still soggy time to order one of the non pizza items on the menu (there are several that sound very tasty).

Love their pizza and the service. It is not located on the main street so the traffic is not going to bother you if you are sitting outside. It is a very casual place and has a good service . I like their beer and wine selection as well. It is very small inside!

The Forge is a small restaurant located in front of Andronico's Grocery in Danville. It has an interesting beer selection and in addition to dining, is a good place to stop in to enjoy a cold beer on a warm day. The menu is limited to appetizers, soup, salad, and small personal size thin crust wood-fired pizzas. Sometimes there is also a sandwich offering. Seating is available on the outside patio, at inside tables, and at the bar. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the tasty food.

The search for Sunday evening dinner found us wandering in to Forge after no real craving struck us. Glad we did. They have a wood fired oven in this place, not only do they use it to bake the pizza, but also to cook their wings, and other entrees. Yup, you read me right, no deep fryer here, no grill, just a wood fired oven. They have a variety of craft brews on tap, and many more in bottles. Try some local beers with your pizza. They can customize. There service was great and there was no crowd. It is a small, quaint place attached to Lunardis, so you can shop in this cool store and then eat pizza and drink beer, or visa versa.

Try Forge, you will be glad you did.

There is outdoor seating adjacent the side street, heaters are on for cool weather.

Ample Parking, Big TV for sports, great place!

Don't let the fact that this place is attached to a grocery store deter you from trying this place. I had heard great things and wanted to give it a try. It is expecially great during the summer months to sit outside. They offer a fun selection of local beers, but lets talk food. Do not miss the burrata cheese appetizer! The pizzas we have tried have all been great...they only come in one size. The soft serve ice cream with salted caramel...save room for this folks!!!
