“Fresh+Amazing Flavors=Impressed”
Reviewed August 26, 2014

Wow!
We are not locals & do not have one in our city, but we wish we did & have pondered opening one. We stumbled upon Gotta-Eatta-Pita after a soccer match and so glad we did.

The menu display is pretty simple, but with the long line it was hard to read. I recommend grabbing a menu before you get in line, to make ordering easier.
You can pick a bowl $8.45 or a pita $7.45 w/ fresh made falafel's or Shawarma Chicken.

My husband and I shared a chicken bowl and we observed it was more food than one pita. We ordered pita bread's on the side to stuff at .75 ea, & it easily made 4 pitas. We had leftovers.
We opted for all of the choices & they start with a smearing of hummus at the bottom & build up the bowl from there. It's a square bowl, so you can move things around & get what you like & work around if you don't like something.
Our daughter (12) got the kids tray $3.95 w/3 sides, a pita & chicken. She ate it up.

On the back of the menu, they have a catering type section for $9.95 pp., a $49.95 platter to share w/6 people, and a 'by the pound' section for all of the offered sides/items. You can also order online at gottaeattapita.com

Depending on the child if they'd eat something like this. Our older girls would not. Everything was delicious and fresh. The line moved pretty quick and the place was full, inside and out.
We would definitely go back if we were in that area. Way better than fast food or sit down burgers.

“Quick & Easy Lunch”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

A great place to get food to go - they do have indoor seating, but just short of fast food style. Ordering and watching them make the Pita to my specifications was an interesting experience. They really stuff it with delicious choices. The neatest part is the box is comes in - just tear off the top and it becomes a holder!

“Amazing food, great service”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

The food at Gotta Eatta Pita is *delicious* and most importantly, fresh. Even their pitas are fresh as they are actually made on-site! Their pricing is very good, too.

My favorite is a pita filled with half chicken shawarma and half falafel. The additional fillings they have such as hummus, purple cabbage salad, tabbouleh, and cous-cous were all fresh and delicious. The pitas come in a custom box that helps keeps the pita upright when you want to put it down!

The owners are nice guys, very helpful, and you can see their passion for their business. It comes through clearly in the food. Highly recommended and very happy to have them in Danville!
