We are not locals & do not have one in our city, but we wish we did & have pondered opening one. We stumbled upon Gotta-Eatta-Pita after a soccer match and so glad we did.
The menu display is pretty simple, but with the long line it was hard to read. I recommend grabbing a menu before you get in line, to make ordering easier.
You can pick a bowl $8.45 or a pita $7.45 w/ fresh made falafel's or Shawarma Chicken.
My husband and I shared a chicken bowl and we observed it was more food than one pita. We ordered pita bread's on the side to stuff at .75 ea, & it easily made 4 pitas. We had leftovers.
We opted for all of the choices & they start with a smearing of hummus at the bottom & build up the bowl from there. It's a square bowl, so you can move things around & get what you like & work around if you don't like something.
Our daughter (12) got the kids tray $3.95 w/3 sides, a pita & chicken. She ate it up.
On the back of the menu, they have a catering type section for $9.95 pp., a $49.95 platter to share w/6 people, and a 'by the pound' section for all of the offered sides/items. You can also order online at gottaeattapita.com
Depending on the child if they'd eat something like this. Our older girls would not. Everything was delicious and fresh. The line moved pretty quick and the place was full, inside and out.
We would definitely go back if we were in that area. Way better than fast food or sit down burgers.
