Good revolving selection of beers, with an emphasis on west coast microbrews. The outside patio is a great place to hang, despite being only steps from San Ramon Valley Blvd. Inside is the standard selection of sports on TV, and a good variety of seating.

We were in Danville to visit the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site and walked into this nearby restaurant hungry. Beautiful day, most folks were sitting outside (there was a wait for outside table) - we ate inside. Happily noisy with a lot of locals hanging out eating and drinking what they are known for...selection of beer. We had mahi mahi salad and marinaded flank steak sandwich. Huge plates of food, and very delicious. Very good service. The walls are lined with pictures folks color/paint themselves of "Pete." Great casual place with great food.

Food is typical pub food served in a lively environment with outdoor seating. Kids can color pictures of Pete. Best pics are on walls of restaurant!

I love going to Pete's whenever I'm in Danville. I like their steak salad (a must) and if I feel like a sandwich, I get the reuben and their garlic fries. They have a lot of beer, everchanging varieties. Regulars can mark their beers off a list and if they reach certain milestones, their name gets to go on the wall. Last time there I sat next to Raider Rick, the number one beer drinker. The service is nice and fast and the bartenders are on the ball. Sitting outside on a nice sunny day is a pleasure. There is plenty of parking in the back. The only drawback for me is that they don't offer dessert. There is however a small bakery down the street but they sell out early of all the good stuff.

Pete's has been around for a long time. Always crowded. Nice outside patio. Mostly burgers and sandwiches. Turkey dip is excellent. Many beers on tap. High energy place.
