I have been frequenting this restaurant since it opened and introduced many friends to the Sunday brunch here. I love the menu, food and service -- but best of all is the outdoor seating areas (x2) around the fire pits, especially fun for Taco Tuesdays, and the live music for Sunday brunch.
The brunch menu is fabulous -- hope they never change it. The service is excellent as are the mimosas with brunch. I particularly like the chilaquilles (sp?) with verde sauce. We went over the weekend with 5 family members and they all loved it as well. Fun for families or friends getting together for a casual meal.

If you want a good meal nearby, go to Esin or Amici in the same shopping center. If you need to go on a diet and cannot resist food, this is the place for you. You won't be able to get served and when food finally came you won't be able to eat.

We were here tonight and it took forever to get served. The excuse was they were having a big party. The party took up one entire table of less than 20 people. If Maria Maria can only handle this much business they should have shutdown the rest of the dining room.

Food came at one temperature only - lukewarm for steak fajita, lukewarm for cheesecake. Clearly a Health Department violation when refrigeration is not at the right temperature. Plus there were constant flies flying around. Since we hardly ate we hope we won't have food poisoning.

After a day of driving and seeing the wonderful Blackhawk car museum nearby. Maria Maria's was perfect instead of waiting for a table. We sat at the bar, service was very good as was a cold beer, salsa and chips. I had soft tacos with grilled chicken, also ordered was a Fiesta salad with added grilled shrimp both were great.

Eat here! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice! Close proximity to my hotel made it a short walk to take wonderful Mexican food back to the room so I could get stuffed!

After purchasing 2 for 1 gift cards we couldn't wait to try out this establishment. The selection of dishes was formidable for a local Mexican restaurant. The food was definitely the high point of the evening. With the wide variety to choose from, it was a difficult decision. After choosing a chicken dish and a crab and shrimp dish, we were not disappointed in these selections. Both were superb with different style toppings than normally found with Mexican food. Although the menu listed rice and beans to accompany the meal, neither was offered by our server.
We were served the typical chips and salsa when seated, but that was the only quick service throughout the evening. A server took our drink orders and we waited. The drinks were finally served after a ten minute wait. The server then took our food orders and we waited. Twenty minutes went by and we waited. No follow up on the chips or the now empty drinks. Finally, twenty five minutes later a young man delivered our meals, apologized for the delay, and walked away. No questions asked. As we were about to take our last bites of our dinner, our server returned and asked if everything was ok. We asked for water and we waited. Ten minutes later our water glasses were filled. At that time we asked for the check and we waited. Rather than wait any longer I left the gift card on the table and left. A tip was still included, although the service was not as expected.
Even though the food was good, the noise level was so loud that a normal conversation was impossible. Return, maybe at lunch to use my second $50 gift card.
