Had dinner here. Very cool looking place. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Menu was extensive. Lentil soup was so good that hubby ordered another bowl in addition to the one that came with the dinner. Mama's pot roast was also good so was the mashed potatoes and veggies that came with it. The grilled half chicken was a tad bit dry and not flavorful as expected, but the skin was crispy. The roasted potatoes and veggies that came it were good though. Portions were ample, so you get your money's worth!

Good service but the food needs work. The chicken orzo soup was good but the pea soup was flavorless and the consistency of tomato soup. The grilled salmon filet was so overcooked it was dry. To give it some moisture I requested tartar sauce, but what I got was a cup of pickle relish with a little mayo mixed in. Huh?

They probably have lots of good dishes but they shouldn't put items on the menu that they can't prepare in a quality manner.

All the regular diner fare plus more. We just weren't in the mood for diner type food so we took a chance & tried a pasta dish & scallops with a mushroom reduction. Both were surprisingly delicious. Everything we saw going to other tables looked great, too.

Be sure to get the house salad dressing. I always get dressing on the side & use almost none of it. This was so good I used every drop & wanted more.

We were too full for dessert so stopped back the next day for an awesome piece of lemon meringue pie and a REAL egg cream .

I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular here & try more dishes.

we have stopped at this diner a few times over the years when we go upstate apple picking .this is a typical diner with diner food ,the problem this time was staff was really having a bad day .when we walked in the young lady at the desk just looked at us didn't say a word ,that was really awkward finally another young lady came over and seated us .we ordered and waiter was good but we overheard a few workers complaining about things which you should never do in front of customers .food was ok diner food nothing special but enjoyable.when leaving the first young lady we saw took our check and its the first time I have not been asked how things were.i was amazed ,she really needs some training .over all ok but staff needs to cheer up .definitely not as good as usual

Even with the parking lot completely packed, they always seem to be able to seat you right away. The site of our first date (10 years ago), sometimes it's nice to see that some things never change. The service is always great, the wait staff is smiling all the time and bustling about. They are attentive and try hard. It's a great example of a diner you want after a long stretch of any road trip. It's Americana and we love it.
