If driving on Interstate 40, take Exit 85, with right turn on to North Santa Fe Ave.
Drive about 2 miles into the town of Grants. Right hand turn on to Geis Street. (The restaurant would be on the right, in the middle of the block. The parking is adequate, but the lack of lighting, makes it difficult to see. Not visible from Santa Fe Ave.
If you pass the O'Riley's Auto Parts store, you have missed the street. If that is the case, make a right turn on next street. Right Turn on the back street of the shopping center. Another Right Turn will put you back onto Geis Street. The restaurant is on the left, if you miss the opportunity to find Geis Street the first time.
An interesting place, where the locals go & they notice if you are a stranger.
The menu is diverse. We tried 2 different Burrito items. The Sheep Herder was filled with spicy meat. Beware of the red sauce, which is to be the mild one. It made our lips & tongue burn. The margaritas were very good. The Servers were attentive & smiled when we said the red sauce was very spicy. Since the peppers are grown in the area, we probably should have had the sauce in a dish, so we could test it. Gave me a good excuse to get some ice cream.
They are celebrating 50 years in business, so they are doing something right.
There are several TV's if someone can't miss the sports games.
