Good quality hotel. The room was large with a jacuzzi and a club chair in addition to the desk chair. King bed was comfortable but there was no choice of pillow firmness vs. softness as in many other chain hotels. I liked that they had a refrigerator and microwave plus a 4 cup coffee maker in the room. This is a tourist area and people tend to stay more than one day making that a plus. Breakfast was exactly the same for 3 days and it was not very good. Cereal, waffles and packaged muffins. But, in a tourist area the value all in all was good.

Stayed here recently for a wedding, and while the price was very affordable & the staff was very nice, the hotel definitely needs improvement.

For starters after we got into our room, we moved a chair, only to see a ton of popcorn cornels had not been cleaned up & looked as if they'd just been swept under there or at the very least the chair had not been moved in ages to be swept. The room itself was a decent size, but definitely needed updating. The bed was unfortunately uncomfortable & the towels were the scratchy cheap kind that I imagine everyone's dealt with at some point before.

Another huge issue with this hotel is that almost anytime you need to leave, you are bound to hit one of 2 enormous potholes right on the way to the road, and they're almost unavoidable. To compound this, almost everything in the city of Gettysburg requires you to turn to the left, which is near impossible to actually do. Having lived in the city for several years, I was aware of this & knew some back roads to get around this, but your only option most times is to turn right, travel a half mile down the street & then try to turn around in one of the shopping centers. But just be forewarned this can be a nightmare to try to get out of during traffic especially.

Several nice things are that it does have a free breakfast (which we didn't eat), but you can also walk to the Perkins which is literally 50 feet away from the hotel and if you have your key card you do get a discount. Also there's a Dairy Queen right in front of the hotel which is also within walking distance.

Overall we would probably stay here again if we were on a budget, but I just wish the room had actually been cleaner & that they would try to do something about the issues on their road. It's definitely a safe place & has the capability to be good, but it needs some work.

This was our first stay at Days Inn in years, but chose this because of Trip Advisor recommendations. Well maintained, nice rooms. However, Continental breakfast most sparse we've encountered at any hotel in years. Dry cereal, instant oatmeal, toast, frozen waffles to microwave, orange juice, coffee, milk! Refrigerator display was empty....no yogurt, fruit, etc. Then, we're out of room all day, and when returned found note under door that room not made up because "privacy" hanger on door. Apparently maid got tired, because there was no privacy hanger on the door when we returned....it was inside same place we left it. Likely won't return.

Best bet if on a budget. Clean, safe and comfortable. Will probably stay again in the future. Complimentary breakfast nice also. Imagine taking a family of 5 out to breakfast... the cost? Deduct that from your night stay = value. When you think of it that way.., very family friendly. Thank you.
