We breakfasted here two days....quality of food and big portions with low prices made this a pleasure. Owners a delight.

“Best value in Gettysburg!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2008

The food here is such a great value! For under $20, my husband and I ate lunch here. Nothing is "cheap" in the tourist area, but this place was a great value!

“A Step Back In Time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2008

If you miss the old diners you went to as a kid, this is the place to go. The girls are freindly and service is speedy. Old fashioned hamburgers and texas hot chili dogs are their specialties. A little old looking and out dated, but that adds to it's charm, Great food and very reasonable prices. Don't try to get in right at noon, the locals fill all the seats within minutes.

stopped by for some lunch and had to come back a second time.
the soup was great so were the fries. but the best thing about the place is the service. if you want a place that makes you feel welcome and makes you want to stop back stop here. say hi to puddles and all the gang.

“You must order a Texas Hot Weiner with everything”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2008

Just stopped by there for lunch on Saturday afternoon (after spending the morning touring the battlefields).

Wow! It's a no-frills place. Small menu. Low prices. They only accept cash (make sure that you stop at an ATM before heading in...there is one nearby at the 711). Seat yourself. Smoking is permitted. Quick and friendly service. Fantastic food!

If it is your first trip, I suggest you order a Texas Hot Weiner with everything (chili, mustard and onions).

We fed our family of three for less than $15.00 (including tip).
