Spent 2 nights as part of a long weekend visit to Gettysburg. The Inn was well appointed and very well organized. Stayed in the Ohio room on the third floor which was small but quite cozy for our needs. The Inn and room were very quite and even though totally booked we rarely saw other guests. Location is perfect for exploring all attractions. Breakfast was included and very good.

We have stayed at The Brickhouse Inn on three separate occasions. Obviously, it is our favorite place to stay in Gettysburg. The Inn itself is very charming and tastefully decorated with an ambiance of coziness. Brian, Tessa and their staff are very welcoming and always ready and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible experience at The Brickhouse Inn. The location of the Inn is perfect. Just steps away from shopping and dining, and a short walk to Lincoln Square and the battlefield. We feel like we are "coming home" when we stay at The Brickhouse Inn, for it is definitely our home-away-from-home in Gettysburg.

Room Tip: We have always stayed in the New England Suite because we like having a sitting room that is separta...

I recently had the pleaseure of meeting Brian and Tessa, owners of the Brickhouse Inn of Gettysburg and as a regular visitor to Gettysburg would like to share with the readers that this is one of the finest Bed and Breakfast in town. My initial meeting with these delightful Innkeepers was in late August when I stopped in to see their beautiful landscaping in the back yard. Brian greeted us and shared some stories about the property and the history of the Brickhouse. Shortly thereafter Tessa spent about a half an hour talking with us and took us on a tour of the property, It is a beautiful home and kept in meticulous condition, inside and out. We knew we were coming up for the Gettysburg wine festival so we booked a room for the weekend. It was a great decision as the NorthCarolina suite was available and it is lovely. I could not think of a more pleasant experience and if you check out some of my other reviews you will find that is a very big compliment. I have stayed at most of the local Bed and Breakfast and this would rank among my best experiences. I wrote a review shortly after my visit and Im not sure why but it seems it was never published. Actually I'm happy that it wasnt because I jsut read a rather negative review and would like to address that. Brian and Tessa are without a doubt the most gracious Innkeepers I have met in my travels to Gettysburg and run the most professional B and B in Gettysburg. They are what others inspire to become. Thank you and the staff for an awesome weekend. and by the way, Tessa your breakfast are FABULOUS!! Look forward to coming again.

Room Tip: I love the Kentucky and NorthCarolina rooms, but they were all very nice.

I've never done this before, but feel compelled, first out of gratitude to those who came before us and recommended Brickhouse Inn, and second because our experience was so pleasant. Brickhouse Inn is a charming place, with gracious owners and staff, ideally situated relative to the battlefield, visitor's center, and downtown Gettysburg. We would recommend Brickhouse Inn to good friends. We hope to return some day.

Room Tip: A room away from Baltimore St. would likely be quieter than the one we were in (Ohio), but the room...

We enjoyed our stay at The Brickhouse Inn which has a great location within walking distance to town and good restaurants. Our room (Alabama) was clean, comfortable and located on the back of the house adjacent to a pretty brick patio and lovely gardens. The breakfast each morning was delicious with Brian and Tessa as wonderful hosts. With two seatings to choose from you had the choice to set out early or sleep in. Our "Toddy Time" in the afternoon was spent on the patio where we were entertained by a resident chipmunk. We would recommend the Brickhouse Inn!

We made a last minute decision to go via Gettysburg and were truly delighted by our on line choice.
Brian made us feel welcome over the phone and when we arrived, Melanie did a great job of organising our Battlefield tour with John and Tessa organised the breakfast of breakfasts! What a treat. We really did wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the very comfortable room, food and the spectacular town of Gettysburg.

Room Tip: We had a room to the street and even with the window ajar there was no noise. You can't go wrong...
