“Not one thing to complain about”

Everything about the Brafferton was wonderful. We only live 45 mintues away, but decided we wanted to stay in town for once. I am so glad we chose the Brafferton. We stayed in the Codori Suite which was perfect. The room is very large, with separate sitting area/living room and bedroom. Two full baths (one extremely large) and a great morning bar with mini fridge, microwave and coffee . The suite is in the carriage house which is essentially attached to the Inn with about a 5' outdoor walk walk to the house but it is covered. The room is amazingly quiet - and what is really neat is that the windows of the sitting area look through a neat display case and onto the sidewalk. You can see the people walking down the sidewalk and nobody seems to notice you. The display case seems to block almost all street noise. It was nice to sit there in front of the fire and enjoy a drink watching the world go by. But if you want privacy the blinds block it all out. If you have mobility issues this is a great room as there are no stairs to climb and there are 2 easy in and out showers (plus a nice soaking tub) even had a shower chair tucked away in the closet. The rooms were a good size, and nicely decorated. The king size bed was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. This room comes with a parking space behind the inn, but the public garage is directly behind that so there is not a problem with where to park. Breakfast was delicous!!! Fresh fruit and muffins with choices for the entree. The entire staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Location can't be beat, right off the circle and within walking distance of many sights and attractions. We will definitely return for another stay.

Room Tip: Rooms in the carriage house are very quiet!

We stayed overnight in the Brafferton Suite. Great location--within easy walking distance of the square and downtown . The inn is split into several buildings throughout the block, and they are mixed in with charming stores. Amazing suite--spacious, gorgeous bed, great jacuzzi, Keurig coffee maker and fresh cream, gas fireplace. The problems--the street outside is REALLY noisy and there's a streetlamp right outside the bedroom window that keeps the room fairly well lit all night. However, the suite is SO nice, the bed is SO comfortable, the breakfast is so good, and the staff is so nice that we really didn't mind that minor drawback. Bring a sleep mask and earplugs and enjoy a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Brafferton Suite is the nicest suite with the best amenities but not quiet or dark at night.

Can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. From the moment we arrived until we left we always felt like part of the family. Wonderful owners who go out of the way to help in any way they can. Food was tremendous. Had to buy the cookbook. They helped in looking into out of the norm places to visit. It is located right downtown a half block from the circle. Only downsides were no wifi in the rooms not located in the main building and parking is only available for certain rooms at the Inn. There is a parking garage directly behind the B&B though. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. They even upgraded us to a bigger room with no extra charge. I will definitely be staying here again if we return to the Gettysburg area.

Room Tip: The Brafferton room has a private parking place. It also has a nice sitting room, a balcony, and a...

It was a wonderful time. Beautiful room, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the owners made us feel right at home! And the best breakfast ever! Had to buy the cookbook for the Inns of Gettysburg to get the poppy seed lemon danish I had for breakfast. Just wonderful! Can't say anything wonderful things. Will be back for sure!

We took a last minute night away in Gettysburg, and the suite at the brafferton was available. Boy were we pleased. From the private parking spot, VERY large room, fireplace, dining table, sep bedroom, and large bathroom, it felt like we could spend a week there instead of a night. The staff were friendly, the suite was clean and modern, and the breakfast was delicious! The main building has beautiful historical features from the old door handles, decor, and basic styling. The suite on the other hand is modern....which was the perfect blend between historic charm of the main building, and modern ammenities in the suite.

If you are looking for a b&b in gettysburg, i have no complaints. Btw - i hope you getto have the poppy cream filled danish when you are there....just awesome.

The owners and employees were all very nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and well put together. The breakfast, particularly the muffins, were splendid. My husband and I had a wonderful weekend away. Would recommend for anyone. Also right off the square so perfect walking distance to shops and stores.

Room Tip: The Pear Tree suite is great. You have your own patio to sit outside and you can park right behind y...

Our daughter gave us a gift certificate for a stay at The Brafferton. She has done this before at other B&Bs. She has a talent of picking winners. We enjoyed our 2 nights & breakfasts very much. Helpful & pleasant innkeepers, delicious food & friendly guest added to the comfort of the Inn. We loved our time in Gettysburg and can't wait to return.
