Stayed here with another couple mostly for location on the square. The discrepancy of the two rooms was amazing.
Our friends got a king room w fireplace and lovely view of the square right next to elevator. It was a huge room w a huge bathroom.
Our room was one room shy of being the farthest room from the elevator, and even though called a suite, our whole room (suite and bed area combined) was half the size of their room. To make it even smaller they put up a wall to make it a suite that left no room to get into area w bed. There was literally 9” of clearance on either side of the bed to get into room.
The suite area was a joke w a decrepit old fold-out couch that made all kinds of noise when you sat down or got up off it.
Not only was the whole suite small and packed w useless furniture, the bathroom was tiny and had lots of issues: sink was clogged and took 15 mins to drain, faucet was loose and coming out of vanity, and tub had mildew around faucet.
The view from the room was not that pleasant consisting of a wall and air ducts.
So, my friend’s room was nearly twice as large, had a huge bathroom, fireplace, a lovely view of the square, and was next tot the elevator and WAS $20 LESS!More
