have been there every time we go to gettysburg which is at least once a year for the last 10 years, good brews, fresh food and good service. Try the stromboli for sure, pizza is good also. I really dont think I ever had anything bad there

We ate here two times for lunch while in Gettysburg. Each time we arrived on the early side of the typical lunch time. Considering that there were not many people to wait on I felt that the service was slow, unfriendly, and just plain all around lacking in energy or interest.

We had read many reviews of this restaurant both on TA and othe sites. Many folks raved about the poutine. We wanted to try the poutine but we did not because they were out of a key ingredient for the poutine - the cheese curds. This was the case both times we ate here. We opted for the Spinach dip served with warmed pita and celery & carrott sticks. This was a very good appetizer but they do not include enough pita bread! We had half our order left and we were out of pita, celery, and carrots. We asked for more pita bread. This took a bit to bring to our table and they charged us for the additional pita! We thought this was really crummy on their part and made us feel like this was a tourist trap type of joint!

For our meals our table enjoyed a burger as well as a panini. Both were very good. They were served with the homemade chips which were yummy.

Overall we liked our meals. We thought that the service was borderline bad. We also really did not like being charged extra for the pita bread - they need to include enough for the portion of dip that is served.

We were visiting the park when we both decided it was time to stop for lunch. What a great place to stop. The food was excellent as well as the locally brewed beer. You want to put the Appalachian Brewing Company on your to do list for lunch or dinner.

I realize they were very busy when we were there but the place was filthy. Tables left dirty the whole time we were there and food all over the floor where we were seated. Bathrooms were dirty too. Food was Ok at best.
