This was the house where the only citizen of Gettysburg was killed during the Civil War. The tour was not very expensive and lasted about an hour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We toured about 7 different rooms in the house including the basement. We could also see several different pieces of furniture or furnishing that we in the home, some with bullet holes. This is an absolute must for a trip to Gettysburg. Kids enjoyed the gift shop as well.

We went on the day tour. Tour guide, Ben, was very good, explained everything well, answered all questions completely. Also didn't mind answering other questions about the area. Price was very reasonable. Very good tour!

The tour we took here was excellent; our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Many original pieces from the original home are still intact and you are allowed to freely explore the house as you walk through. Many original artifacts are also on display and photography is freely allowed. Highly recommend this!

We really enjoyed the tour of this house. Bob, our guide, was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Seeing the bullet holes in the home and the explanation of them made the closeness of the battle profound. Good tour!
