“Nice!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014 via mobile

Great location, friendly service, great location. Rooms comfy and clean. Pool, fitness center and hot tub included. Breakfast was yummy, too--lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and plenty of baked goods. Family was happy and refreshed and ready to go to the national monument!

We recently stayed at this hotel one night on the bus tour from Indiana that we were part of. When we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely welcoming gal that gave us an overview of the hotel as well as of visiting Gettysburg. When we left the next day, she sent us off with the same friendly attitude. It was very refreshing.

In addition, the hotel and rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, temperature was easy to control very accurately, The internet worked flawlessly.

This new hotel is very well situated because it's close to Hershey Park (45-55 min.) away but right off Route 15. Plus visiting Gettysburg College and he civil war battlegrounds are easy because they are close, plus the nearby chip town of Hanover (Snyder's-Lance & Utz's) is 10-15 mins away.

Also close to the Courtyard of Gettysburg is the Appalachian Brewing Co. restaurant 50 yrs. from the front door and there is a movie theater as well.

Gettysburg main drag of Steinwehr avenue is 10 minutes by car. The Tanger Outlets are also very close.

Stayed at this hotel in Gettysburg for one night in August. The location is close to everything. The rooms were very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. We asked for a late check out because we had a guided battlefield tour scheduled and it was granted with no problem. I highly recommend this hotel and a guided battlefield tour if you visit the area. Our tour guide Ted Gajewski was knowledgable and entertaing and really made the Battle of Gettysburg come to life.

We got this hotel with a Priceline Express deal and for the price… I really can't say anything negative other than a fridge in the room would have been nice (some Courtyard's seem to have them and others do not). Service was good and the room was clean and comfortable. The location isn't really close to downtown but is a simple drive away. We'd stay here again.

One night stay in Gettysburg so the family could visit the Battlefield sites. This was a wonderful property on the outskirts of town but with 2-3 miles of everything we wanted to see. Hotel in clean, modern, quiet, very comfortable, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Front desk staff was cordial but could work on being a little more friendly/helpful

Alicia at the front desk was so helpful on the phone when I made the reservation. I was attending a wake/funeral in Gettysburg and was trying to surprise my cousins by showing up from Upstate New York. Alicia was friendly and made my visit a true joy. I hope she is rewarded for her steady and sweet approach to hotel guests. It was a lovely experience.

Megan was full of breakfast smiles. She served me in the hotel restaurant area and was nothing but helpful. I told her I so appreciated a friendly demeanor (especially in the morning while contemplating heading to a funeral). I hope she also will be recognized for a job well done.

My room was great and quiet - which I needed!! It was a quick overnight but memorable.

Please let me know how you plan on recognizing these wonderful employees.
